How much does artificial turf cost for a backyard in DFW?
Residential artificial turf installation runs $4.50 to $10 per square foot turnkey, depending on project type, base prep, and turf product. Pet turf with antimicrobial infill runs $5 to $11 per square foot, and putting greens run $5,000 to $32,000+ installed. Our turf cost calculator gives a range for your yard in a couple of minutes.
Is artificial turf safe for dogs and kids?
Yes. Our turf products are lead-free, non-toxic, and tested to ASTM safety standards. Pet-rated turf has antimicrobial backing and uses drainage-optimized infill that prevents odor buildup. Playground-rated turf is shock-pad-engineered to ASTM F1292 fall-rating specifications. We install both regularly across DFW.
Do you install turf for HOAs, apartments, and commercial properties?
Yes. We install turf for multifamily amenity lawns, HOA common areas, retail and office courtyards, daycares and playgrounds, and school projects across DFW. Bearcat is State of Texas HUB Certified, bonded, and insured, with certificates of insurance available before mobilization. Commercial scopes are line-itemed so a GC can scope adjacent trades cleanly.
How much does it cost to build a baseball field?
Real baseball field costs run in tiers: $40K to $90K for a rec-league field, $150K to $400K for travel-ball, and $500K to $1.2M+ for tournament-grade with full artificial turf. The tier depends on field type, base work, drainage, and surface. Our cost guide breaks each tier down, and we give a fixed price after a site visit.
How much does a batting cage or indoor training facility cost?
Backyard cage packages start at $5,999, quoted within 24 hours, and the batting cage configurator gives a range for your size and use before you talk to anyone. Commercial and training-facility cages are priced by tunnel. For a full indoor facility with turf, full-shell netting, dividers, epoxy floor, fencing, and electrical, plan on roughly $23K to $35K per tunnel before pitching machines, lighting, permits, and the building itself. A fixed price comes after a site visit or video walkthrough.
Where do you build?
We are based in Aledo, Texas. Residential and commercial turf is installed across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Sports fields, cages, and indoor facilities go farther: across Texas, plus Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Kansas, Nebraska, Georgia, and New Mexico. The farther the drive, the larger the project needs to be, and each state page says where that line is. Outside DFW we start with a virtual consult.
Do you work on public bids and school projects?
Yes. Bearcat is HUB Certified by the State of Texas. We respond to sealed bids, RFPs, and written quote requests, and our Spec Desk takes a bid package directly. If your district requires a cooperative purchasing contract, ask us first. A cooperative only works through an awarded vendor, and we will tell you plainly whether we hold an award.
What warranty comes with a Bearcat installation?
Every turf install ships with a 15-year manufacturer product warranty on the turf: UV-stabilized, non-flammable, anti-acid yarn across the TurfHub catalog we carry. Bearcat covers a 1-year installation workmanship warranty on the build. Warranty paperwork is supplied at quote.
